Adding a Sport

There are numerous sports and activities that can utilize Rank One. Each sport/activity will have access to build rosters, input schedules, track equipment, and more!

Important: Only an Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director can add sports and activities.

Part 1: Adding Sports/Activities to Your School

1 Navigate to My School Information

Hold your cursor over the Admin tab and select My School Information.

2 Edit School Information

Click "Edit School Information" under the school you're adding the sport/activity to.

3 Select Sports/Activities

Sports and activities are separated into three columns: Male Sports, Female Sports, and Combined Sports.

Go through the appropriate column(s) and place a check in the box next to each sport/activity you want to add. Scroll down to the very bottom and click Save.

Part 2: Setting Up Teams and Levels

Important: In order to build rosters and schedules for a newly added sport/activity, you MUST set up the appropriate team and levels under Admin > My Sport(s) Information.
4 Navigate to My Sports Information

Hold your cursor over the Admin tab and select My Sports Information.

5 Select Your Campus

Find the correct campus and click View.

6 Add a New Team

Find the sport/activity and click Add New Team.

Tip: Next to each sport/activity name, you'll see (M) for Male, (F) for Female, or (C) for Combined.

7 Enter Team Name and Level

Type in the Team Name, select a Team Level, and click Save.

Tip: You can only select one level at a time. Repeat this step to add additional levels.

8 Adding Multiple Teams at the Same Level

You can have as many teams at the same level as needed. For example, you can add multiple 8th Grade Level Teams and distinguish them by the team name.
