Adding Administrative Users

Rank One Pro · Last updated April 20, 2026

This tutorial explains how to add Administrative Users to your Rank One account. There are two types of administrative access: Assistant Athletic Director and Administrator.

Administrative User Types

Tip: You may only add Administrators if you are an AD, Assistant AD, or an Administrator that has "Yes" marked for the Access Setting: "Allow to Add other Administrators."
1 Navigate to Users Data

Hold your cursor over the Admin tab and select Users Data from the dropdown menu.

2 Select Add User

On the Users Data page, click the Add User button in the upper-left corner.

3 Enter User Information

Type in the user's First Name, Last Name, School Email Address, assign a Password, confirm the password, and select the appropriate User Type from the dropdown menu.

Tip: When initially assigning a password, we suggest making it very generic (such as the user's first name). They will have access to change their password after they log in for the first time.

If you add an Assistant Athletic Director, all campuses will be automatically selected under Campuses.

4 Assign Campus Access

If you add an Administrator, you will need to place a check in the appropriate box(es) to assign the user to the correct campus(es).

5 Add Coaching Assignments and Save

You may also add coaching assignments (if any) by selecting the appropriate School, Sport, and Assignment underneath Coaching Assignments.

After completing all required information, click Save.

Tip: The Access & Notification settings can be changed to grant specific access for any user type. Rank One presets the Access Settings based on the setup used by most districts.
